St. Theresa has a variety of ministries that exist to assist its growing multicultural community as well as assist its very diverse parish family. Following is a brief informational statement from the ministries of the parish. Please take a moment to read about their offerings and how to contact them. We hope you will be interested to volunteer your time and talents and get involved with one of our ministries. Once again welcome to St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Communion to the Homebound – Our purpose is to take communion to our homebound parishioners and to keep them in touch with the parish and provide a friendly visit.
St. Theresa’s Choir – We provide music for all masses. Email or call the parish office with your name and phone number and someone from either the Spanish or English choir will contact you. Please specify English or Spanish.
Trinity Ladies Auxiliary - The purpose of the Auxiliary is to support the Knights of Columbus, promote fellowship within the church, support and hold receptions for all the sacramental students.
RCIA – (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) For adults who have never been baptized; those who have been baptized in other faith traditions; those who have not completed the sacraments of initiation, usually confirmation; those who have been away for a long time who would like to be updated on church teachings; and Catholics in full communion who would just like to learn more about their faith. Classes are held in Spanish and English. For more information contact the parish office.
Knights of Columbus – Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and multicultural fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, and war relief and public relief works. for more information click here /knights-of-columbus
Charismatics (Sal y Luz Para el Mundo) – The objective of the movement is to promote a radical surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all parts of life, a strong adherence to the Gospel teachings of the Catholic Church, and the pursuit of strong fellowships centered on Christ. This movement is based on the belief that certain charismata (a Greek word for gifts), bestowed by the Holy Spirit, such as the abilities to pray in tongue and to heal (which Christians generally believe existed in the early Church as described in the Bible) should still be practiced today.
Neo Catechumenal Community – Christian formation of adults, taking its inspiration from the catechumenate of the early Catholic Church, by which converts from paganism were prepared for baptism. Also, it provides a post-baptismal catechumenate to adults who are already members of the church. Deeply committed to the “New Evangelization” called for by Pope John Paul II.
Extraordinary Ministers, Lectors and, Altar Servers - Multicultural group of parishioners mandated to assist our Parish Priest and spread the word to our parish community. For more information contact the parish office.
